Disney+ has unveiled a captivating preview of its new original series 'Nine Puzzles,' which is scheduled to debut on May 21. The show, starring Kim Da Mi and Son Suk Ku, delves into the realm of psychological suspense as it delves into the fine line differentiating truth from suspicion, all within the framework of a chilling murder mystery.

The narrative revolves around Yoon I Na, portrayed by Kim Da Mi, who was the lone eyewitness in an unsolved murder case a decade ago. Presently employed as a criminal profiler, she is drawn back into a fresh string of killings that bear a resemblance to the ones in the past. Detective Han Saem, played by Son Suk Ku, still harbors doubts about I Na's involvement in the earlier case and initiates an inquiry into the new crimes with the same suspicions. Their psychological confrontation becomes the focal point of the series.

The teaser kicks off with a young I Na stumbling upon a solitary puzzle piece at the scene of her uncle's murder—the only remnant of evidence left behind. Years later, as a profiler, she embarks on the trail of a new perpetrator, sparking further inquiries into her role in the case. The tension escalates when Han Saem divulges, “I still think Yoon I Na is the prime suspect," heightening the unease between the characters. I Na's composed yet penetrating reply, “Are you implying that I’m the killer?” blurs the distinction between innocent and guilty, setting the stage for an enthralling mystery.

The series' motto, “Vanished memories, a mysterious puzzle, a new wave of murders,” suggests that 'Nine Puzzles' transcends the genre of a mere crime drama. It pledges to present a complex and intellectually stimulating saga that gradually unveils the truth, step by step.

'Nine Puzzles' will be divided into three parts, with the initial six episodes premiering on May 21, followed by an additional three on May 28, and concluding with the final two on June 4, totaling eleven episodes.
