Gates likened Savannah to a prison guard and criticized her for what he perceived as a controlling and stern attitude towards LeBron. Despite acknowledging LeBron's basketball prowess, Gates emphasized that he would not want to trade lives with him due to Savannah's behavior.

In response to Gates' remarks, Savannah shared a meme on her Instagram Stories, while LeBron posted a photo with Savannah with a caption seemingly dismissing critics. Gates later addressed the situation, suggesting that his comments were based on truth and claiming that LeBron secretly agreed with him.
