Yella Beezy, a rapper facing capital murder charges for the death of Dallas rapper Mo3, requested a bond adjustment to attend his son's football games but was denied by the judge. As a result, he will continue to be under house arrest. Beezy petitioned the court in March to allow him to leave the house for his son's games in order to maintain family connection and stability. The court hearing took place on Friday, where the judge ultimately rejected Beezy's request.

Yella Beezy, also known as Markies Deandre Conway, was arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with Mo3's shooting death in 2020. Allegedly, Beezy hired Kewon Dontrell White to carry out the killing, which occurred on Interstate 35E in Dallas. White pursued Mo3 on foot after a car chase, shooting him multiple times while he tried to escape. The incident was captured on traffic cameras, with a bystander being injured but surviving. White and Devin Brown are also involved in the case, with White already serving time for a different firearm offense.

Initially, Yella Beezy was detained on a $2 million bond, of which he posted $750,000 to be released. The motive behind the alleged murder-for-hire scheme remains unspecified. Yella Beezy gained fame with hits like "That's On Me" and has worked with notable artists such as Quavo, Gucci Mane, and Lil Wayne. He has encountered legal issues in the past, including charges of weapon possession, sexual assault, and child endangerment, which were ultimately dismissed. White's recent comments during a livestream from jail suggest he expects to be released soon.
