Earlier this week, at the 'CJ ENM Music Media Lounge', the Director of CJ ENM's Music Content Division, Shin Hyung Kwan, announced the upcoming projects scheduled to be broadcast on Mnet in 2025.

The director began by unveiling the confirmed projects for the first and second halves of 2025, such as 'World of Street Woman Fighter', 'BOYS II PLANET', an 8-episode K-Pop competition series in collaboration with Apple TV+ named 'K-Popped', and a band audition program that is still unnamed.

Additionally, plans were shared for Mnet to introduce a fresh season of 'Unpretty Rapstar' later this year, in partnership with the creators of 'Street Woman Fighter'. This new season, tentatively titled 'Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-Hop Princess', will showcase contestants from Korea and Japan with talents in hip-hop dance, vocals, and rap. The aim, as mentioned by the director, is to create the 'IZ*ONE of the hip-hop world'.
