The Seoul Central District Court's 51st Civil Division issued an order on April 17 KST instructing the YouTube channel HOVERLAB to delete all videos that revealed personal details about YouTuber Tzuyang. Tzuyang had previously sought legal action to have HOVERLAB remove videos from their channel that exposed her experience of being blackmailed by three cyber wrecker YouTubers. The content included recordings of conversations between cyber wreckers Goo Je Yeok, Jeon Guk Jin, and Caracula conspiring to extort money from Tzuyang, as well as private information that Tzuyang alleged was obtained through stalking.
The court found that HOVERLAB had posted the videos on YouTube with the intent to harm Tzuyang's reputation, infringing upon her privacy rights and constituting defamation.
