Woodz, also known as Jo Seung Youn, has been confirmed to perform at 'Summer Sonic 2025', which will be held on August 16-17 in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. The event recently announced its lineup additions on April 17 JST, which include artists like JVKE, Man With A Mission, BABYMONSTER (in Osaka only), BAND-MAID, BMSG POSSE, HYDE, Kuroyume, MAZZEL, SOMBR, TREASURE (in Osaka only), and Woodz.

Woodz's participation in 'Summer Sonic 2025' marks his first official stage performance following his return from mandatory military service in South Korea. Currently fulfilling his military duties as a member of the Korea Military Academy Service Support Group, Woodz is scheduled for discharge on July 21.

Recent allegations made by YouTuber Lee Jin Ho claimed that Woodz was romantically involved with the late actress Kim Sae Ron between 2021 and 2022. In response to these claims, Woodz's label, EDAM Entertainment, stated, "We are unable to confirm details regarding the artist's personal life."

'Summer Sonic 2025' will showcase various K-Pop acts such as Woodz, (G)I-DLE, izna, and aespa (only in Tokyo) at Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, as well as at the Osaka Expo '70 Stadium in Osaka, from August 16-17.
