On the April 15th episode of JTBC's 'Street Food Biker,' Kwanghee faced racial discrimination in Spain but stood up against it. The series features Ryu Soo Young, Kwanghee, Shin Hyun Ji, Bae In Hyuk, and Jeon So Mi selling Korean food at La Caleta Beach in Spain, capturing their experiences.
Ryu Soo Young started the business successfully by offering gochujang pork belly with a goal of selling 100 servings daily. He adapted the dish to suit the locals' taste, leading to a busy day with constant cooking. Bae In Hyuk struggled with chive pancakes but received support from Kwanghee, who helped out and earned the nickname “pro-assistant.”
The group was thrilled to see a Korean customer at the stall. Ryu Soo Young warmly welcomed them and served extra meat to make up for the absence of Korean food in the area. Kwanghee had a conversation with the customer, who shared stories of studying abroad and using Ryu Soo Young’s recipes.
While buying supplies, Kwanghee faced racism, expressing his displeasure openly. Upon learning that business was halted due to a local parade, he returned disheartened. 'Street Food Biker' highlights Ryu Soo Young and Michelin chef Fabrizio Ferrari promoting Korean cuisine on the streets of Spain. The show airs every Tuesday at 10:40 PM KST on JTBC.
