Stray Kids have earned their fourth Gold certification from the official music association of France, SNEP, for their release SKZ HOP HIPTAPE ‘HOP’.
As stated on the SNEP website on April 10, SKZ HOP HIPTAPE ’HOP,’ which was dropped on December 13, 2024, surpassed 50,000 album units sold in France, leading to the group receiving a Gold certification. This achievement adds to the group’s previous recognitions for their full-length album "5-STAR", mini album 'ROCK-STAR', and 'ATE'.
SNEP, founded in 1922, provides certifications to albums and singles based on total sales.
‘HOP', the first project of the SKZ HOP HIPTAPE series, introduced a distinct genre for Stray Kids. It includes the impactful title track "Walkin On Water" and individual tracks by each of the eight members, attracting enthusiastic support from K-pop fans worldwide. The album made its debut at the top spot on the Billboard 200, marking the group's sixth consecutive chart-topper and obtaining a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in March 2025.
Currently, Stray Kids are on their extensive world tour, Stray Kids World Tour ‘dominATE’, connecting with fans around the world. During March 27 to April 13, they performed eight stadium shows in five cities in Latin America, including Santiago, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Lima, and Mexico City, with around 400,000 attendees, highlighting their global influence.
The dominATE tour, their largest yet, with 55 shows in 34 cities, will kick off again at Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa on May 10–11 and 17–18, and then continue to Rome on July 30. Through this tour, Stray Kids are expected to attract a total audience of 2.2 million, setting a new record for the most-attended K-pop world tour by a solo act.
