NewJeans marks 1000 days since debut despite paused group activities

NewJeans marked a significant achievement of reaching 1,000 days since their debut by expressing gratitude to their fans on their social media accounts on April 16th KST. However, amidst the celebration, the group faces challenges with unresolved legal issues and a pause in their promotional activities.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the five members thanked their fans for the joyous 1,000 days they had shared together. The post featured a sunflower symbolizing loyalty and affection towards their supporters.

Despite the milestone, the group's activities have been halted following a court ruling in favor of ADOR, their management agency. This ruling restricted the members from engaging in independent advertising contracts, leading NewJeans to announce a suspension of all group activities at their Hong Kong performance.

Although the group promised a return with brighter smiles following the decision, reports suggest a lack of coordination with ADOR and immediate objections to the ruling raised doubts about their sincerity. The legal battle continues with conflicting claims from both parties regarding the validity of the contract.

Speculation surrounding internal conflicts among the parents of two minor members has been denied. The parents affirmed their unity and support for the girls during this challenging period.

Despite the group's current hiatus, individual members are pursuing personal schedules, such as traveling and meeting fans at birthday events.
