Snoop Dogg is preparing to release a gospel album called "Altar Call" in memory of his late mother, Beverly Tate. The album, which will be released on her birthday, follows his previous gospel project, "Bible of Love," and reflects his mother's teachings and influence on him. Snoop expressed that his mother's spirit continues to inspire him to use his voice for spreading love and positivity. The album, scheduled for release on April 27, features a cover of Bill Withers' song "Grandma's Hands" by Jamie Foxx and collaborations with various artists. It aims to convey themes of grace, healing, and community and marks Snoop's continued journey into blending hip-hop with messages of faith. This upcoming album will be launched under Death Row Records.
