On April 14th at 10 PM KST, the group shared a teaser on their official social media accounts announcing their upcoming 4th mini album titled 'No Genre', which is scheduled for release on May 13th at 6 PM KST. The teaser animation features a character running forward and leaping into the air, reflecting the group's characteristic cool and playful vibe. The teaser reveals the album title and release date, building anticipation among their fans.

'No Genre' marks BOYNEXTDOOR’s comeback after around eight months since their third mini album '19.99' and four months since their successful digital single “One and Only (오늘만 I LOVE YOU)”. The single achieved significant success, reaching No. 4 on Melon’s Top 100 on the day following its release and maintaining a spot in the Top 10, currently ranking at No. 9 on the weekly chart. BOYNEXTDOOR also gained international recognition by appearing on the Billboard Global charts, showcasing their growing global impact.

In January, BOYNEXTDOOR completed their first solo tour, BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1’, with 17 shows in 12 cities across various countries. The group is planning encore performances in Tokyo and Seoul, bringing more excitement to their expanding global fan base.
