Tay-K, whose real name is Taymor McIntyre, has managed to avoid a literal death penalty for his involvement in the murder of a photographer in Texas a few years ago. He was recently found not guilty of capital murder but guilty of the photographer's murder. Instead of facing the death penalty, McIntyre now faces a sentence ranging from five to 99 years. This trial concluded with conflicting evidence and testimonies, including McIntyre's ex-girlfriend testifying against him. Notably, McIntyre is currently serving a 55-year sentence for a separate murder conviction. The jury is scheduled to reconvene shortly to determine his sentencing for this case.
