/Article

Sean “Diddy” Combs recently faced new federal charges of sex trafficking and violating the Mann Act in a Manhattan courtroom, where he pleaded not guilty. The charges added in a third superseding indictment expanded the existing case against the music mogul. These new allegations portray a pattern of criminal behavior from 2004 to 2024. The charges involve incidents from 2021 to 2024 with a second alleged victim referred to as “Victim-2”. The prosecution accuses Diddy of using force, fraud, and coercion to engage women in commercial sex and transporting them across state lines and borders, violating the Mann Act. Allegations include manipulating victims through threats, violence, and drugs, such as ketamine and ecstasy. Prosecutors suggested that Diddy's celebrity status was used to lure victims into exploitative relationships under false pretenses. The case, involving a racketeering conspiracy charge, covers two decades and involves allegations of kidnapping, arson, bribery, forced labor, and drug trafficking. Diddy has consistently denied the allegations, asserting that all relationships were consensual. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The trial is set to commence on May 5 in a Manhattan federal court.
