Actor Lee Dong Gun, who recently began operating a café in Aewol-eup, Jeju, is contemplating relocating his residence to better accommodate his daughter.

During an episode of 'My Little Old Boy' on SBS that aired on April 13th, Lee Dong Gun disclosed his contemplation of moving and inspected a new house situated in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province. He expressed that his daughter Roa, who is now 9 years old, is reaching an age where she could start spending nights at his place.

He mentioned that his current residence is primarily suitable for one person, prompting his desire to create a space exclusively for his daughter, fulfilling a promise he made when she turned eight. Lee visited a specially designed three-story wooden house, ideal for children and featuring a cozy wood-themed interior, including a loft and a secret room reminiscent of Harry Potter.

The house's highlight was a treehouse-style room perfect for a child. The residence also boasted solar-powered heating, with a low monthly cost of approximately 20,000 KRW (around $15), impressing viewers with its efficiency.

Priced at 690 million KRW (roughly $510,000 USD), Lee viewed the residence as a perfect fit for his daughter Roa. Lee Dong Gun was previously married to actress Jo Yoon Hee, with whom he shares custody of Roa following their 2020 divorce. Despite this, Lee maintains a strong bond with Roa, consistently making efforts to spend quality time with her.

Furthermore, Lee's new café in Jeju hosted a soft opening, with Lee extending a message promising excellent service and menu choices for customers. Balancing a new business venture and plans for a family-friendly home, Lee Dong Gun is embracing a new chapter in his life as a dedicated father and entrepreneur.
