Television star Park Na Rae has recently become a victim of theft, involving valuable possessions valued at tens of millions of Korean won, from her residence. The local police are investigating the incident to determine if it could be an inside job. Additionally, there is growing attention on past statements made by Kian84 in connection with the ongoing investigation.
Park Na Rae discovered the theft on April 7, where numerous expensive items were missing from her house in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. She promptly reported the incident to the authorities the next day, leading her to cancel her upcoming appearance on the MBC Radio program 'Son Tae Jin’s Trot Radio.'
Given that there were no signs of forced entry, law enforcement is considering the possibility that the thief might have been someone known to Park Na Rae as there was no evidence of a break-in.
Notably, comments made by Kian84 in the past are now being revisited in connection with the theft incident. In July 2024, Park Na Rae had appeared on Kian84’s YouTube channel, Life84, discussing her enthusiasm for hosting parties at her home. Kian84 had mentioned that Park Na Rae's trusting nature could make her vulnerable, warning her to be cautious of individuals who often discuss money or boast about their activities.
Viewers who watched the video found Kian84's insights on people to be accurate, hinting that he may have already suspected someone. The relationship between Park Na Rae and Kian84 appeared close, with many remarking on Kian84's genuine care for his friends.
Separately, the theft took place at a house Park Na Rae acquired in a 2021 auction for 5.5 billion KRW (approximately 3.9 million USD) that was notably featured on the MBC program 'I Live Alone.' Additionally, Kian84 recently disclosed that he declined a significant Buddhist award.
