Actress Park Han Byul is making a comeback to the film industry after a hiatus of 6 years. Her agency, Chan Entertainment, recently announced her participation in the upcoming movie 'Karma', directed by Han Jong Hoon. The film delves into the concept of karma, exploring the idea that one's past actions shape their future destiny. 'Karma' tackles societal issues in Korea, particularly focusing on the justice system's handling of crimes and the leniency of punishments.

Park Han Byul will take on the role of a documentary producer who sheds light on the stories of crime victims. The film is scheduled to debut in theaters in 2026, following its initial presentation at various film festivals later this year.

After a long break, Park Han Byul has returned to the entertainment industry. Her return marks a fresh start after her husband, Yoo In Suk, was involved in the 'Burning Sun' scandal in 2019. Yoo In Suk was charged with offenses like solicitation of prostitution and embezzlement, leading to a sentence of one year and eight months in prison, which was deferred with a three-year probation period.
