G-Dragon is about to create history as the first Korean artist to send his music and music video into space. His agency, Galaxy Corporation, announced the collaboration with KAIST on April 9 to launch the project using Azure OpenAI’s Sora, an advanced AI service from Microsoft’s Azure platform.
As an invited professor in KAIST’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, G-Dragon aims to connect space science, artificial intelligence, and entertainment. His agency hailed the project as a pioneering moment for the future of entertainment technology.
The space transmission is scheduled at 8 PM KST at the KAIST Satellite Technology Research Center and is linked to NASA’s SETI initiative. SETI previously made news by transmitting music from The Beatles into space. G-Dragon is the first Korean artist to participate in this renowned project.
