Justin Combs and Cuba Gooding Jr. are being accused of avoiding being served in a lawsuit brought by Lil Rod against Diddy. As a result, Lil Rod is seeking court permission to serve them through newspaper ads in major publications. The lawsuit, initially filed in February 2024 by music producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones Jr. against Diddy, alleging serious misconduct like sex trafficking and drug distribution, was later amended to include Gooding Jr. and Justin Combs as co-defendants, claiming they were involved in the alleged abuse and its cover-up. Despite multiple attempts to serve them at known addresses in California and Florida, the process servers have faced difficulties as the addresses were outdated or the individuals were unreachable. Lil Rod's legal team argues that both men are intentionally avoiding being served, and they are seeking court approval to serve them through newspaper ads in the New York Times and Los Angeles Times as a last resort.
