The production team announced on April 7 that the filming of the movie '7 AM Breakfast Club for the Heartbroken (tentative title)', directed by Lim Sun Ae, was completed the previous month.

Based on a novel with the same title, the film narrates the story of a man and a woman confronting the aftermath of a breakup. The filming commenced in December of the previous year and concluded recently.

Suzy plays the role of Sa Gang, a flight attendant entangled in a forbidden romance with pilot Jung Soo (portrayed by Yoo Ji Tae). She infused the storyline with nuanced emotions, expressing her joy in collaborating with an excellent director and cast. Witnessing the adaptation of a beloved novel into a movie evoked complicated feelings for Suzy.

In her statement, Suzy expressed her hopes that the audience would discover solace and warmth through the film, mirroring the comfort she found in playing Sa Gang. Lee Jin Wook acts as Ji Hoon, a consultant and lecturer going through a breakup following a lengthy relationship with teacher Hyun Jung (depicted by Geum Sae Rok), showcasing the intricate shades of a long-term partner with depth.

Lee Jin Wook shared his mixed emotions at the conclusion of filming, feeling a blend of happiness and melancholy from the experience. He conveyed his efforts in portraying the breakup emotions through Ji Hoon, aiming for the audience to resonate with warm empathy and comfort.

Director Lim Sun Ae also expressed gratitude towards the cast and crew for their dedication during filming, promising to continue giving her all in the post-production phase. '7 AM Breakfast Club for the Heartbroken' targets a theatrical release in the latter part of this year.
