Fatalities Occur at Mexican Festival Attended by TXT; Group Expresses Sympathy

At the 'AXE Ceremonia' music festival in Parque Bicentenario, Mexico City on April 5th, tragedy struck as two individuals lost their lives in a fatal accident. The incident occurred when a metal crane structure collapsed due to a sudden gust of wind at around 5:30 PM. Despite receiving immediate emergency care and being transported to the hospital, the two victims, identified as photographers, did not survive their injuries.

Local officials in Mexico City have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident and the parties accountable. In response to the tragedy, the festival was called off following the incident.

During their performance at the festival, K-pop band TXT expressed their condolences for the losses through their official X (formerly Twitter) account. They extended their sympathy to the victims, their families, friends, and colleagues during this challenging time. TXT had the honor of being the first K-pop group to appear at the festival.
