Actor Jung Woo Sung has been seen in Beijing, China, arousing excitement among fans and speculation about potential changes in the Korea-China entertainment scene. The news, reported by News1 on April 3rd, revealed that Jung had traveled to Beijing as a co-founder of Artist Company, which he established with his longtime friend and actor Lee Jung Jae. The two were reported to have met with key figures in the Chinese entertainment industry, including representatives from a major Alibaba-affiliated company.

This visit has raised hopes for a potential relaxation of the Hallyu (Korean Wave) ban in China, commonly known as "Hanhanryeong." Industry experts believe that discussions between the duo may lead to future collaborations between Korea and China in the film industry, fostering increased cultural exchange between the two countries.

Their presence in Beijing has attracted attention on Chinese social media platform Weibo, with fans sharing sightings of Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jae. The two were seen together at a cigar bar with renowned Chinese actress Zhou Dongyu, further piquing interest.

This outing marks Jung Woo Sung's first prominent public appearance since news of his extramarital child surfaced in November of last year. Despite not being married, Jung confirmed having a son with model Moon Ga Bi and expressed his commitment to taking full responsibility as a father, a declaration that drew both criticism and support from the public.

Moreover, Jung is preparing for his return to the screen later this year in the Disney+ global series 'Made in Korea', indicating a professional comeback amidst personal challenges.
