A marketing platform called AppLovin announced on Thursday that it has made an offer for TikTok assets outside of China before the April 5 deadline, set by U.S. President Donald Trump, to locate a buyer for the popular short video app used by 170 million Americans.

AppLovin mentioned in a regulatory filing that its interest in acquiring TikTok is tentative and there is no guarantee that a deal with the company will progress.

Several bidders, including Amazon and a group headed by OnlyFans founder Tim Stokely, have expressed interest in acquiring TikTok as the deadline for finding a buyer quickly approaches.
