The Dream Concert, a legendary and long-standing K-pop music festival, has recently announced its inaugural world tour scheduled for 2025.
Established in 1995, Dream Concert has been a consistent annual event for the past 31 years, becoming a significant part of Korean popular culture heritage.
Under the guidance of Im Baek Woon, the Korea Entertainment Producers’ Association (KEPA) revealed plans to expand the Dream Concert to international locations to connect with K-pop fans worldwide. KEPA, a non-profit organization representing 441 local entertainment companies and over 5,000 artists, focuses on fortifying the music industry infrastructure and advocating for producers' rights.
The primary objective of the Dream Concert World Tour is to provide a distinctive platform for K-pop's global advancement and enable artists to engage with a broader international audience, ensuring a spectacular stage experience unique to Dream Concert.
The tour is scheduled for September and October, with specific cities and dates to be disclosed later. Alongside this announcement, the official logo for the 2025 Dream Concert was revealed, creatively integrating Korean characters from "Dream Concert" and incorporating Korea's country code (+82) to represent the global reach of the tour. Customized versions of the logo with the international dialing codes of each visited country will also be introduced.
Im emphasized, "The Dream Concert holds a significant position in the history of K-pop, reflecting its evolution from its origins in the 1990s to its current global prominence. Through this world tour, we aim to capture and share the exceptional essence that only Dream Concert can deliver."
