Sources: Luxshare from China Considering Hong Kong Listing in 2021

Luxshare Precision Industry, a Chinese manufacturer of Apple AirPods, is exploring the possibility of listing on the Hong Kong stock exchange this year, as stated by sources familiar with the matter. Luxshare, which is currently listed in Shenzhen, has been in talks with investment bankers regarding the potential listing and is expected to make official announcements soon.

The company aims to raise between $2 to $3 billion through the listing; however, the final size of the listing will be subject to market conditions. Several mainland China-listed companies are looking at Hong Kong as a viable option for secondary listings, with a total of $2.4 billion worth of initial public offerings and secondary listings recorded in Hong Kong thus far in 2025, a significant increase from the previous year.

Among these companies, battery manufacturer CATL is planning to raise at least $5 billion through a listing in Hong Kong. Luxshare, established in 2004 as an Apple supplier, also produces various other electronic devices such as routers, wireless charging modules, and video conferencing equipment. Its current market capitalization is 295 billion yuan ($40.61 billion).Luxshare's Shenzhen-listed stock has remained relatively stable this year based on LSEG data.
