Netflix released a video introducing the characters of its new Korean thriller series 'Karma' on March 29. The show, set to premiere on April 4, revolves around six people caught in unbreakable threads of misfortune, crafting a grim and gripping crime story.
Kim Nam Gil portrays Jung Min, a doctor and the partner of Joo Yeon (played by Shin Min Ah). As Joo Yeon confronts her dark past and gets embroiled in a relentless cycle of unresolved relationships, Jung Min supports her with quiet strength.
In the recently revealed clip, Jung Min is depicted in a dim alleyway, his expression suggesting he may have witnessed something disturbing. The unsettling ambiance raises suspicions about his role in the unfortunate connections surrounding Joo Yeon.
Director Lee Il Hyung praised Kim Nam Gil, stating that his portrayal of Jung Min added depth and intensity to the character. Shin Min Ah, Kim's co-star, mentioned how his cheerful demeanor on set lifted spirits, making filming a pleasant experience.
The cast of 'Karma' includes Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Lee Hee Joon, Gong Seung Yeon, Lee Kwang Soo, and Kim Sung Kyun. Written and directed by Lee Il Hyung, recognized for works like A Violent Prosecutor and Remember, the series focuses on high-stakes missions and the impactful moments of characters striving to overcome challenges.
