“NewJeans Fans Stage Truck Rally Outside HYBE Headquarters in Protest of ADOR Communication”
/Article

A sector of the NJZ (NewJeans) fan base initiated a truck protest outside HYBE's headquarters to advocate for reconciliation between the girl group and their agency ADOR.

In the morning of March 27, a group of NJZ (NewJeans) fans, known as Bunnies, positioned trucks outside HYBE's establishment in Yongsan District, Seoul. The protest aimed to resolve the conflict and encourage constructive dialogue between NJZ (NewJeans) and ADOR.

The trucks carried various messages, including:

- Questioning the purpose of the lawsuit and urging reconciliation. - Speculating on the outcome of the pending trials and the potential consequences. - Warning about the risks involved and emphasizing the need for a resolution. - Expressing concern for the group's wellbeing and future decisions.

The demonstrators, distinct from Team Bunnies, emphasized the prolonged legal process ahead and the potential repercussions for the five NJZ (NewJeans) members. Despite ADOR winning all 11 injunctions, concerns were raised about the implications for the main lawsuit, urging alternative solutions.

The protest emerged from the ongoing legal dispute between NJZ (NewJeans) and HYBE-ADOR, leading to a halt in the group's independent activities using the NJZ (NewJeans) name. Recent engagements, including a performance at 'ComplexCon,' have been followed by a temporary hiatus, intensifying the controversy.

NJZ (NewJeans) members have criticized the K-pop industry in international interviews, causing a stir abroad, while another faction of the fandom, Team Bunnies, has pledged unwavering support for NJZ (NewJeans) amid the legal battle.

The rift within the Bunnies fandom concerning NJZ (NewJeans)' legal strategies and Team Bunnies' allegiance has triggered tensions, prompting the truck protest. The fan base remains divided online, with discussions surrounding NJZ (NewJeans) showing no signs of abatement.
