NBA YoungBoy was handed a 27-month federal prison sentence last year. Recently, the rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, has been released from Talladega Federal Correctional Institution in Alabama after serving 11 months. He was originally arrested in April 2024 on charges involving prescription drug fraud and firearms in Utah. NBA YoungBoy's associate, OG 3Three, celebrated his release on Instagram, expressing joy at his return. The rapper's mother previously mentioned that he was being moved to another prison in January, but was confident he would eventually be released. NBA YoungBoy pleaded guilty to firearms charges in Louisiana and Utah, resulting in his imprisonment.
