Singer Yoo Seung Joon (Steve Yoo) recently reminisced about his childhood in South Korea. He shared a video on March 18, titled "December 7, 1989," recounting his time at Oju Middle School in Songpa-gu before he moved to the United States. The video showed various parts of the school, prompting Yoo to express nostalgia about how unchanged it appeared over the years. Despite not recording the video himself, Yoo thanked a fan who sent it to him.

Yoo Seung-jun began his music career in April 1997. However, in January 2002, he left South Korea for a concert trip and later obtained U.S. citizenship, leading to the loss of his South Korean citizenship. As a result, an entry ban was imposed on him by the Ministry of Justice, preventing him from returning to South Korea since then.

Reflecting on his sentiments on South Korea's Armed Forces Day last year, Yoo expressed his deep attachment to the country, stating that he misses and loves it dearly.
