During the game against the Miami Heat on March 17, Morgan fell ill while seated courtside, resulting in him being escorted out of the arena. He was wheeled away after experiencing vomiting and a nosebleed.

In a positive update shared on his Instagram, Morgan reassured his followers that he was doing better and confirmed that the cause was food poisoning, according to doctors. He expressed gratitude for the care he received from the MSG staff and humorously mentioned that the Knicks won the game after his departure.

Despite some light-hearted teasing from 50 Cent about the incident, many others, including Fat Joe, DJ Premier, and Papoose, sent messages of support for Morgan. Taraji P. Henson also chimed in, reminding him to take care of himself based on a previous conversation they had regarding health.
