Kim Kardashian is reportedly planning to challenge Kanye West's joint legal custody status following the release of a song that featured their daughter, North West, without her approval.

Despite Kardashian's objections, Kanye, now known as Ye, released a track called "Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine" that prominently included their 11-year-old daughter, North.

Reports suggest that Kardashian is considering asking a judge to remove Ye's shared decision-making rights as tensions between the ex-partners escalate.

After officially finalizing their divorce settlement in 2022, the celebrity couple, who got married in 2014, agreed to co-parent their four children jointly: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Although physical custody has not been a significant issue, sources claim that Kanye spends minimal time with the children.

Ye's recent actions have turned joint legal custody, especially concerning important parental choices, into a point of conflict between the former couple, as Ye indicated his readiness to confront Kim.

Per the terms of their divorce agreement, significant disagreements regarding their children's welfare necessitate Kardashian and Ye to attend a private judicial meeting along with their legal representatives and a mediator.

Upon learning about Ye's intention to release the controversial track featuring North and Sean "Diddy" Combs, Kardashian swiftly requested an emergency meeting to express her strong disapproval. While Kardashian, her legal team, a mediator, and a judge assembled for the meeting as required, Ye notably did not attend.

Despite his initial assurance to withhold the disputed song, Ye went against this promise and boldly shared the track on social media, asserting that men "make the final decision."

Following Ye's unexpected actions, Kardashian is reportedly seeking court intervention to limit Ye's role in parental decision-making permanently.
