Allegations from the past concerning Gold Medalist, a talent agency currently in dispute with the family of the late Kim Sae Ron, have resurfaced. A former employee claims that Seo Ye Ji was mistreated by the agency and that Kim Sae Ron was aware of significant information regarding the agency's wrongdoings.

The individual, identified as A and claiming to be a former Gold Medalist employee, disclosed in a YouTube comment that they were terminated for leaking sensitive information about Seo Ye Ji to the media, which was not published due to the agency's founder's interference. A further accusation by A suggested that negative claims about Seo Ye Ji were orchestrated within the company, with individuals paid to spread false accusations.

A also accused Gold Medalist of fabricating stories about Seo Ye Ji mistreating staff and engaging in school violence, with the agency paying people to spread these lies. They mentioned that Seo Ye Ji trusted Kim Soo Hyun when signing with the agency but ended up being exploited for their gains.

The former employee brought Kim Sae Ron into the discussion, hinting that her journal may hold more truths about her relationship with Kim Soo Hyun. A reassured Kim Sae Ron's family that Gold Medalist's actions would eventually expose itself.

Seo Ye Ji had signed an exclusive contract with Gold Medalist in 2019 but faced criticism following the Kim Jung Hyun controversy. She left the agency in November 2023 and is now associated with Sublime Artist Agency. Addressing rumors of her connection to Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron, Seo Ye Ji clarified on her fan café that she had no association with them.
