In a recent ABC News interview, JAY-Z's attorney, Alex Spiro, discussed the impact of the false accusations on JAY-Z's personal life, especially his children.

In December 2024, a lawsuit was filed by a woman using the name Jane Doe, claiming that JAY-Z and Diddy sexually assaulted her in 2000 when she was 13. However, the lawsuit was dismissed in February 2025, putting an end to Jane Doe's claims against JAY-Z.

Not content with just vindication, JAY-Z responded by suing Doe and her legal team for defamation in March 2025, including attorney Tony Buzbee, who represented numerous individuals making similar claims against Diddy.

Spiro addressed the audio recording that played a crucial role in the case, where Doe explicitly stated that JAY-Z was not involved in any sexual acts with her. Doe also mentioned that her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, had pushed her to name JAY-Z in the lawsuit, a claim Buzbee denies.

Spiro denied any allegations of coercion or intimidation by private investigators towards Doe and emphasized that she voluntarily shared her truth that JAY-Z was not involved.

Spiro stressed the importance of JAY-Z's defamation suit in ensuring that the truth was fully revealed and that false accusations could not go unchallenged.
