NJZ’s Hanni Accuses HYBE and ADOR of Misrepresentation in Legal Battle
In a bold move, NJZ’s Hanni has taken to Instagram Stories to call out HYBE and ADOR for allegedly manipulating her words amidst their ongoing legal dispute.
Expressing frustration, she questioned the integrity of the companies, stating, "How can you distort a message I wrote to suit your narrative? You claim to have our best interests at heart, yet you persist in harassing me, ADOR and HYBE."
Hanni further revealed that she had refrained from speaking out to prevent further escalation. However, she issued a warning that she would not remain silent if NJZ continued to face baseless allegations: "I have restrained myself, not wanting to exacerbate the situation. But if you dare to make additional false claims, I will speak out."
These grievances surfaced following ADOR’s release of video evidence and chat logs to counter allegations arising from the "Ignore It" controversy that emerged in May 2024. The dispute revolved around NJZ members allegedly ignoring ILLIT, HYBE's new girl group. ADOR aimed to demonstrate through the footage that ILLIT members had indeed greeted NJZ members, refuting claims made by former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
Despite not being obligatory, NJZ members attended the recent court hearing at the Seoul Central District Court on March 7, with ADOR’s current CEO, Kim Joo Young, also in attendance. The feud underscores uncertainties regarding NJZ’s future within ADOR as tension mounts.
