Cardano Foundation and Brazil's SERPRO Collaborate to Revolutionize the Public Sector

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Cardano Foundation and Serviço Federal de Processamento de Dados (SERPRO) have joined forces to usher in a new era of innovation for Brazil's public sector.

This strategic partnership is aimed at fast-tracking the adoption of blockchain technology while promoting digital literacy through the specialized training programs offered by the Cardano Academy.

Brazil's impressive track record in digital governance has received global acclaim, with the country ranking second in digital government maturity according to the World Bank.

SERPRO, a powerhouse in the IT industry and the largest state-owned IT company worldwide, has played a pivotal role in Brazil's digital governance achievements. With its robust technological infrastructure supporting a majority of the federal government systems in Brazil, SERPRO manages a staggering 750 digital solutions and processes over 33 billion transactions annually. Additionally, it oversees an immense 30.4 petabytes of data across various cloud platforms.

The collaboration between SERPRO's extensive experience in public administration and Cardano's cutting-edge blockchain technology is set to redefine the landscape of Brazil's public sector. Frederik Gregaard, the CEO of the Cardano Foundation, expressed the transformative nature of this partnership, emphasizing its potential to modernize Brazil's public sector infrastructure through blockchain education and technology.

This landmark initiative aims to introduce higher levels of transparency, accountability, and efficiency to government operations, benefiting millions of Brazilian citizens. Alongside blockchain integration, the alliance places a strong emphasis on education, with the Cardano Academy offering comprehensive blockchain training to SERPRO employees through masterclasses, technical workshops, and certification courses.

President of SERPRO, Alexandre Gonçalves de Amorim, highlighted the significance of the partnership in positioning Brazil as a pioneer in digital government transformation. This collaboration marks the first time SERPRO has engaged in educational initiatives with an international organization, demonstrating the pivotal role played by Cardano Foundation in fostering such strategic partnerships globally.

As the Cardano Foundation continues to expand its global footprint, the native token ADA has garnered attention for its recent developments in the US. Following ADA's inclusion in President Trump's crypto reserve, the token witnessed a notable surge in value. However, the market faced volatility after President Trump issued an executive order for a strategic Bitcoin reserve, leading to a decline in ADA's value. Presently, ADA is trading at $0.87 after experiencing a 7.52% drop in value over the past day.

As the crypto landscape continues to evolve, the alliance between Cardano Foundation and SERPRO stands out as a groundbreaking partnership geared towards revolutionizing Brazil's public sector and driving forward the digital transformation agenda.
