Kakao Entertainment Makes Waves with New Global Fan Communication Platform 'Berriz'

Kakao Entertainment has set the internet abuzz with the beta launch of its innovative fan communication platform, 'Berriz', aimed to rival Weverse in the near future.

Musical sensation Jung Seung Hwan kicked off the excitement by unveiling his exclusive Berriz community, extending a warm invitation to his loyal supporters, affectionately known as US, to join him on this cutting-edge platform.

Describing Berriz as a versatile playground tailored for fans' diverse interests, a Kakao Entertainment spokesperson shared, "Our modular platform is designed to offer fans an immersive experience, with a focus on intellectual property. We envision it as a hub where fans from around the globe can interact freely and revel in fan culture. Following the launch of Jung Seung Hwan's community, our official release is slated for the end of March, showcasing tailored community services for various IPs (artists)."

Excitement reached fever pitch as the beta version of Berriz teased an upcoming community for Starship Entertainment's rising star, KiiiKiii.

In a twist of fate, talks have been swirling since earlier this year about artists under Starship Entertainment and SM Entertainment (Kakao subsidiaries) making a move to a fresh fan platform. Speculation mounts that talents from these labels may switch over upon the expiration of their contracts with Weverse Company.

Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking development!
