Ottogi's Latest Move Creates Buzz as BTS's Jin Named Global Model for Jin Ramen
In an exciting announcement on February 26th, Ottogi revealed that they have chosen BTS's Jin as the face of Jin Ramen in their latest global marketing campaign set to kick off next month.
The South Korean food company is gearing up for a major makeover of Jin Ramen's packaging on a worldwide scale, with a series of strategic efforts aimed at expanding its reach in international markets. The campaign will commence with a captivating promotional video, setting the stage for future endeavors.
Consumers can look forward to spotting BTS Jin's charismatic image gracing the packaging of both bowl and cup ramen products, not just locally but also in countries like the U.S., Canada, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and more.
To sweeten the deal, Ottogi is offering collectible seal stickers as part of the campaign, which can be found in multipack versions of Jin Ramen. These stickers flaunt 12 unique designs featuring Jin himself, alongside his personal messages and Wootteo - a character he introduced in conjunction with his latest solo release, "The Astronaut," in 2022. While domestic products will feature one of the 12 designs in limited quantities, export multipacks will include one of four sticker designs bearing Jin's portrait.
Building on their international presence, Ottogi recently showcased Jin Ramen at the prestigious 2025 Winter Fancy Food Show in Las Vegas, the largest food expo in the U.S. The packaging now prominently displays the English spelling of Jin to cater to global consumers, and flavors are clearly labeled. To further enhance brand recognition, Ottogi has introduced a charming mascot aimed at resonating with consumers worldwide.
An Ottogi spokesperson expressed their enthusiasm for the global campaign, emphasizing their commitment to engaging with international consumers through this exciting collaboration with BTS's Jin.
